Under the title “Selected Works 1978-2011″ shows the gallery Pavlov’s Dog in Berlin from 20th January to 25th February 2012 work of Russian photographer Sergey Chilikov.
The opening is on 19th January 2012 at 19:00 clock.
“Since the mid seventies Sergey Chilikov – who holds a PHD in phi losophy – has been searching for the secrets of the Russian soul with his camera. In the far away province of Mari El, in which he lives, he has pointed his lens at the life of ordinary people and has developed a distinct aesthetic language that is far from any romantic view of country life.
The exhibition at pavlov’s dog shows selected works from Chilikov’s steadily growing body of work of the past 30 years. The German catalogue with his works has been published at Benteli publis hing house.”
