jorgs remarks about digital photgraphy are quite narrow minded and betray a real creative lack on his part – a dislike of digital is a real signal that he although he may know photography – he knows very little about creativity.

@me: If Joerg points out that a camera (digital or analog) is just a tool, he’s quite right. Generally I would be a bit more careful before I call someone “narrow minded”.

Peter, the interesting thing about the internet is that you learn all kinds of things about yourself – typically from people who prefer to stay anonymous.
“Narrow minded” was new, I’ll add that to my list. :-)

Me: cameras are just tools, is what you do with a camera that really matters. Just see the work of Susan Bowen and his ‘Holga’ and you soon start to realize just that.
Jörg is a remarkable photographer and it was a pleasure talking to him. I agree with him: camera are just tools and the advent of photo-sharing sites are overflowing the internet with a vast quantity of photographs but the quality isn’t growing so fast.
    So what you call ‘creativity’?
Do you have examples of your own to show us?
HDR? Cloned skies? Heavily photoshop’d photos?

    Please give me a break…
